Generously funded by the Kaplan and Rothstein funds

The mission of the UCLA CAN REACH Training Program is to provide cutting edge, empirically-driven information, training, and resources on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to community professionals and parents to enhance the lives of individuals and families affected by ASD.

Research

CAN REACH is rooted in decades of research conducted at UCLA’s world renowned Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART). CART plays a leading role in advancing our understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and CAN REACH aims to bring this science to the community.

Awareness

CAN REACH aspires to increase awareness and access to evidence-based, gold standard treatments for ASD. By increasing awareness, we hope new interventions will be more readily implemented in community settings so that individuals with ASD obtain the highest levels of care.

Education

CAN REACH provides educational opportunities for parents, teachers, professionals, and all people who are interested in learning more about how to support people with ASD. All workshops are led by experts in the field of ASD.

Community Help

CAN REACH aims to support community providers, teachers, and families by providing free clinical trainings, educational seminars, and resources. CAN REACH strives to work with community members to best meet their needs.
